... but no matter what, you will find support. We help each other be better parents/wives/women.
There is no room for bullying, name calling, arguments, or any type of bad drama. There is, however, plenty of room for just about everything else.
On any given day we will discuss our children's bowels or rashes, our bodies, request some support when feeling judged, or personal time with the hubby...or lack there of! lol We have Meme Mondays (my personal favorite), Prego Hump day (each week getting belly pics of the prego girls), and Friday Embarrassed To Admit (FETA).
These mamas are wonderful but what makes them amazing is what happens when there is a crisis.
Yesterday, one of the girl's daughter started haveing seizures and was rushed to the hospital. There was prayer support, words of encouragement, stories of how some have gone through the same thing, and we even gathered money for gift cards so they could eat while they were dealing with this. This was remarkable to me for one major reason.
Most of us have never met!
You read that right. We have had a few meet ups here and there but I'm currently in California so have not been able to attend. It's amazing how we can be so connected to the inner workings or each others lives and still say things like "I think I saw so-and-so at target. We're you there today? Oh and I liked you Tula!" We have our own lives, our own friends, but together, share this emotional safety net.
It takes a village to raise a child; mine just happens to be online at the moment. And there's nothing wrong with that!
Thank you to one truly amazing group of women!
